GatorFoam is a rugged, durable board that resists dents and
punctures. The exceptionally hard, smooth surface of GatorFoam is uniform
and blemish free. Photomounters, artists, designers, sign painters,
exhibit builders, and engineers have counted on it for years.
GatorFoam has a light, durable core of polystyrene foam, bonded on
both sides to patented Luxcell® facings. These wood fiber veneers are
impregnated with a proprietary resin for integrity, durability, and
moisture-resistance. Ideal for indoor or some outdoor use.
Painting: Gatorfoam accepts latex, oil-based, or acrylic paints.
These
foam letters and logos will
come to you un-painted. You may paint them
yourself using any high quality paint. If your letters will be placed outdoors,
you MUST PAINT THEM or they will deteriorate over time. This type of foam
does not expand or contract like other products, so your paint film should
not crack and split from substrate movement.
