Installation Tips

Always
unpack your shipment and check the contents thoroughly.
Be certain you have all the materials and tools necessary to
complete the installation before going to the job site.

Material and tools may include: Installation Template
or SpacingTape, Turkey Baster or Compressed Air, Bolt Cutters,
Wrench, Studs, Nuts and Washers (or pads),
Sign Letters (duh :), Shims,
Masking Tape, Silicone Adhesive, Drill and Drill Bits, Safety
Glasses, Shop Brush, Level and Ladder. |

How to avoid
common
installation
problems: |
|
|
Check installation template (mounting pattern)
before beginning installation. |
|
|
Verify all boxes and letters have been delivered
before beginning. |
|
|
Center and level template on mounting surface. |
|
|
Clean surface thoroughly before using
silicone. |
|
|
Blow all debris from holes after drilling (stud or
combination mount). |
|
|
Check letter orientation to avoid upside down
characters. |
|
|
Make sure number on back of each letter matches
positioning on template. |
|
|
Use only top quality materials (silicone, tape,
etc.). |
